There is an ever-growing body of evidence to support what we’ve known intuitively for years: leaders who build effective relationships while simultaneously focusing on results produce superior results. This dual focus on relationships and results is the ‘sweet spot’ targeted by our coaching.
However, we come at this sweet spot from a different angle than most coaches. We don’t offer advice about what you should do as a leader. Rather, our aim is help you discover what works best for you so you can achieve the results and develop the relationships that you want. Only then can you be an authentic leader with natural, sustainable success rather than concentrating on doing what we or others suggest you do. Only then can you be who you want to be as a leader… and as a person.
1. We help you learn how to reliably access your Clear State of Mind. This may sound obvious or uncomplicated, but many of the talented leaders we coach have become accustomed to the worry, stress, frustration, or doubtthat cloud their thinking. Often they believe these just “come with the territory” and even attribute their success to being able to “tough it out” in spite of all this pressure. Many have lost hope that there’s an easier way
- one that doesn’t extract such a high price from them, their families and colleagues.
Having a Clear State of Mind is essential to exploring and discovering your full range of talents and knowledge. It is the source of new insights and deepened connections with others. This Clear State of Mind is also what enables you to bounce back quickly from setbacks and remain balanced, focused and resourceful no matter what work and life throw your way.
2. We help stimulate your insight process by suggesting new ways to view things – situations, events, people, or beliefs. This requires deep listening on our part so we can learn what currently makes sense to you. Only then can we offer you possible new perspectives. You might hear us say something like, “That’s one way to look at it; have you ever considered…?”
We serve as an impartial sounding board so you can test out new thinking and share your experiences with us as you experiment with new approaches. Changes you choose to make as a product of insights or “aha’s” you’ve gained will feel natural to you. They’re your insights and you own them – for as long as you believe they’re working in your favor.
