DEBORAH J. LOVE
Deb has over 25 years experience partnering with leaders to create strategic organizational change by enlisting the contribution and commitment of employees and other key constituents. Within the fields of organization development and human resources, her areas of expertise include whole system change, organizational culture change, strategic plan implementation, executive coaching, total quality management, employee relations and strategic staffing. She has specialized in helping organizations achieve improvements in business performance through simultaneously leveraging the “hard stuff” (process and systems performance) together with the “soft” stuff (culture and human dynamics).
As an internal consultant, Deb has worked in a variety of industries including medical device (Johnson & Johnson), pharmaceutical (Warner-Lambert), automotive (Ford Motor Company) and energy (Michigan Consolidated Gas Co.). As an external consultant her clients have included firms that span the healthcare continuum, including Novoste Corporation, Medtronic, Oakwood Healthcare System, Mercy Healthcare of Southwest Ohio and GlaxoSmithKline. Deb earned a BA and MBA from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Wayne State University. She is a graduate of the Satir Performance System and is certified to administer the MBTI, the EQ-i and The Leadership Circle™ assessment tools.
Deb resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with her husband, John. She has a daughter at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as well as three grown step-children and five grandchildren and a godson she met in his homeland of Vietnam. A passionate golfer, Deb also enjoys traveling, classic jazz, professional baseball (esp. the Cleveland Indians), and college athletics (esp. the Wolverines and Tar Heels). She is also a volunteer Guardian ad Litem, representing the interests of children in cases of abuse and neglect.
