partners is more than just a name to us. Keyreflects our belief that we have found a profound, yet simple, key to helping individuals and corporations become more resilient and productive while inspiring personal commitment and contribution. Redreflects the boldness of our approach and the power we have seen in the results it produces.  “Partners reflects the way we do our best work – in partnership with each other and our clients.

At redkey partners we’re not interested in offering “flavor of the month” solutions.  We’ve seen enough of those through our decades of business experience.  Between us we have studied and delivered just about every flavor to come along in the fields of leadership and organizational change over the past 30 years.  Most of these were intellectually sound and some were research-based.  There were steps to be remembered and new behaviors to be practiced – all of which took effort and continual reinforcement.  The outcomes seemed promising at first, but these approaches failed to produce lasting change.

What we as consultants wanted was a way to help individuals and organizations produce Sustainable SuccessLasting, self-renewing success that did not required the ongoing support of us as consultants.

 Our Search

When first introduced to the key that now forms the foundation of our work, we were struck by how simple it was.  In fact, our biggest challenge was not “over-thinking” it.  As the principles took hold in our own lives, we began to experience more productivity with less effort along with significantly enhanced relationships.  While we still experienced disappointments and losses, we were able to bounce back more quickly.

Best of all, there were no steps to remember – no extra effort to be expended.  We just allowed the understanding to expand into every aspect of our work and life.

Next we began introducing this simple key about the relationship between state of mind and performance into our corporate consulting.  The teams and business units with which we worked also began to experience more productivity and enhanced relationships.  They began to think more creatively and make decisions more easily.  They gained the perspective needed to balance long-term interests of the business with day-to-day performance.  Employees began demonstrating surprising levels of discretionary effort.  For example, one professional involved her teen-aged son in helping her develop a creative, compelling hi-tech computer presentation for a high-visibility company meeting.  Aides at a nursing home began volunteering for improvement committees with families and residents after normal work hours.

We knew we were really on to something profound and fundamental when people began reporting that their relationships with family and friends outside of work were also improving – some dramatically.  People were feeling less stress and more peace of mind.  They discovered renewed enjoyment in activities that had become a grind.  One plant superintendent, who described himself as “burned out” before he learned the key, reversed his plan for an early retirement and now trains others to coach employees using these principles

At last we have the key to the Sustainable Success we were seeking.  We want to share this with you so that you, too, can remain balanced, calm and resourceful no matter what work and life throw your way.  We want to give corporations the key to unleashing their employees’ discretionary effort so that both the business and the people who work there will be able to thrive and grow.  We’re passionate about this mission.  We invite you to partner with us.
